Sharing My First Recipe

For the first time ever, I'm sharing my favourite recipes here and surprisingly, for this first recipe, it's a healthy one haha. When I started working, I didn't have time to cook and most of the time my family and I would be having dinner outside. I guess being married has changed me a lot.

Anyway, this recipe is called avocado toast but since I don't have a toaster at home, I usually make it like a regular sandwich. This recipe has become my favourite breakfast. It's simple, healthy and delicious too. The best thing about it is it's very easy to make and you can get it all down under 5 minutes! Everything you need is listed below.

Ingredients needed:
  • Wholemeal bread
  • 1 avocado
  • Black pepper
  • Pepper (optional)
  • Chilli flakes (optional)

How to:

1. For a start, you can use any types of bread. I use wholemeal bread. If you have a toaster at home, you can toast your bread or else you can skip this step and move on to the next one.
2. Now, to make an avocado spread, cut the avocado into two. Using a spoon, scoop out the avocado flesh and mash it using a fork.
3. Once you are done with that, you can put the avocado spread on the bread. Finally, add a little bit of black pepper, pepper and chilli flakes. You're done!

How easy is that. This recipe serves for two. If you're feeling extra, you can also add scrambled eggs or a few slices of banana on top of the avocado spread.
